User Stories

These user stories document the complete workflows in Waterworks, from the user's perspective. Each story includes journey diagrams, wireframes, and step-by-step instructions.

Product Context

Waterworks is a camera-first, offline-capable mobile app for documenting ranch water infrastructure. Point your phone at equipment, snap a photo, and on-device AI identifies what it is and pre-fills the documentation. You confirm (or adjust) and save. The app handles mapping, syncing, and history automatically.

Core philosophy: Capture first, classify second. AI assists, humans decide.

The camera is the primary input. AI handles classification and data extraction. Users verify and confirm rather than create from scratch. Every AI suggestion is editable—humans always have final say.
